Winter Blues

I am so ready for Spring! It has been cold a dreary here most of the month and it has most deffinantly put me in the mood for warmer, sunnier weather! I understand that groundhog day is tomorrow and I think it is time that someone had a little talk with that rodent before he comes out, because 6 more weeks of this will proably push me over the edge. And besides that I have plans that need some warm weather cooperation! We are planning on landscaping the backyard a bit soon and unless this cold, rainly, mucky days come to an end I'm never going to have the motivation I need to get it all done! So in protest to the cold weather, here are a few family shots from a session I did when things were warmer! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket It was plenty warm that day, but it has been so cold and wet since that all the sessions I've done after that one have been indoors. Here is a peek at an adorable red head that I got to see early in the year: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Isn't she just beautiful? :) I was lucky enough to "meet" this little guy a little earlier than most: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket And here he is after his grand entrance into the world, a few weeks later: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket He was such a little cutie. We had to work to get him to sleep for us, but it was well worth it! :) And last but not least my photography assignments for the past few weeks from Scrapbooks.com: Assignments 3 was "expressions," and here is my take on that: Photobucket you can't see his face, but I thought that whole sceen showed how much he wanted that door open so well. :) This one is a more direct take on it: Photobucket Week four's challenge was "catchlights" (the little sparks of light in your subject's eyes that make them seem alive) And here is my attempt to get Spencer to hold still long enough to catch some good ones: Photobucket Photobucket I'm still working on this week's challenge which is "Colorful" This will be a good one for me as color is sorely needed around here right now! Please just let it warm up! :)

  2. I love that little guy asleep on the counter. How precious. It really shows his small size.

I can hardly wait to take pictures when we have another one. I'm not pregnant but I just love all the cute pictures you take.

Hey, do you mind if I refer a friend to you? What's the best way to schedule an appt? She's due in March and I just regret not getting any "professional" (you're so professional) pics taken when Brayden was fresh out of the oven.

  6. Ok, you are just amazing. I LOVE seeing all your pics. I'm so jealous that I can't take a pic even half as good as you can! I wish we lived closer so you could take all my kids' pics! It's worth a trip to Texas, right?? I wish! Well, it's been FREEZING here in Utah. A snow storm about every 48 hours for the last 3 weeks. I'm so sick of it. But temps in the 40s this weekend, what a heat wave! We miss you and hope you guys are great! Tell your hubby hi from us!
