Love for Daddy

Well, I thought things were getting better around here, but now Spencer and I are enjoying our turn at being sick. I guess I am over due as it has been a year or 2 since I was really sick, however, that thought doesn't comfort me much at the moment. Instead I'll just think back on a fun bright spot in an otherwise yucky week last week. As I mentioned in my last post, Ty missed his Valentines party at school. Not really a big deal, but he had been counting down the days til the party for some time. I felt bad that he was going to miss it, so we decided to have a party of our own on Friday. We started out by creating some surprise Valentines for dad and then driving them down to the the high school and decorating Marc's car while he worked. The boys were so excited to surprise their dad! Here are a few pictures of their amazing works of art: Photobucket Photobucket I was proud of Ty! He wrote the sentiment all by himself--zero help from me--and for Ty, that is quite an achievement! Photobucket Blake liked the stickers best: Photobucket Spencer didn't seem too think much of his. I coaxed him into holding his for a moment and scribbling a little, but that was the extent of his interest in the activity. He might have enjoyed decorating the car more, but he fell asleep on the way down to the school. Photobucket After surprising Daddy we went home and decorated the house. We had hearts and balloons everywhere for a few hours! Very fun! We topped the night off with a special "breakfast for dinner" complete with heart shaped pancakes with red syrup, pink milk, and a giant heart shaped chocolate chip cookie for dessert. I didn't take any photos of our special dinner, but here is a little something I whipped up earlier in the month, just in case any of you doubt my domestic skills ;) Photobucket It really was a fun day--even Ty seemed content despite the change in plans for him!

A Loooong Week At Our House--And Some More Newborn Pictures

Well, I didn't get as much done this week as I had hoped. Ty came down with the flu on Monday and later tested positive for Strep throat. He missed school all week--including his class picture and his class Valentines day party. Poor thing...at least he is doing much better now and can go back to school on Monday. Blake seemed to catch a milder version of what Ty had, and he too is starting to do better now. So far no one else has got it so I'll keep crossing my fingers that it stays that way and the worst has passed. I didn't get much sleep at the beginning of the week and I can tell my body is starting to make up for that now. Despite the all the craziness of this past week I did get a little bit of photo editing in. This session isn't done yet (Sorry Stacey)--but I'm getting close. Here is a little sneak peek for you while you wait: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket I also loved the first one in color--I couldn't decide which way was better. Photobucket Happy friday night everyone!

Wedding Album Design and One Last Set of CHA Projects

I recently wrapped up the album design for Ethan and Marisa's wedding. --Which, by the way, was a super fun event. Ethan and Marisa were so happy and and in a fun playful mood all day. I think some of the photos refelect that mood well. I could tell they have a lot of fun together! A special thank you to both familes for having me there. I really enjoyed getting to know you and your extended families better. It was truly a special and fun dayfor me!
Their album is a 10x10 hard cover book with a photo of Marisa's bouquet on the cover/back. Here are some of my favorite pages from their book:

Another Sneak Peek

This time is it Queen and Company--which is truly an amazing company. I have always loved their products--from the first time I laid eyes on their little makeup bag with all the cute embellishments packaged inside--to now with their great bulk sales. Now you can buy just what you want to buy without paying extra for packaging! And on top of that, they have an amazing new release! So many great lines, and I got to play with my two favorites: Magic and Boy crazy. So perfect for me as we just went to Disneyland in the fall, and well, obviously testosterone levels run high in this house :)
Here is a look at what I did with them:
