Wedding Album Design and One Last Set of CHA Projects

I recently wrapped up the album design for Ethan and Marisa's wedding. --Which, by the way, was a super fun event. Ethan and Marisa were so happy and and in a fun playful mood all day. I think some of the photos refelect that mood well. I could tell they have a lot of fun together! A special thank you to both familes for having me there. I really enjoyed getting to know you and your extended families better. It was truly a special and fun dayfor me!
Their album is a 10x10 hard cover book with a photo of Marisa's bouquet on the cover/back. Here are some of my favorite pages from their book:

Another Sneak Peek

This time is it Queen and Company--which is truly an amazing company. I have always loved their products--from the first time I laid eyes on their little makeup bag with all the cute embellishments packaged inside--to now with their great bulk sales. Now you can buy just what you want to buy without paying extra for packaging! And on top of that, they have an amazing new release! So many great lines, and I got to play with my two favorites: Magic and Boy crazy. So perfect for me as we just went to Disneyland in the fall, and well, obviously testosterone levels run high in this house :)
Here is a look at what I did with them:
Awesome products aren't they? I had a lot of fun working with them! Be sure and head on over to scrapbook.com and see the full sneak peek of all their lines, plus lots more artwork from other team members! Also be sure and head over to the Queen and Company blog and enter the give away contest to win some for yourself :)

CHA sneek peeks!

I love being a scrapbook designer--it is the best job in the world! I just finished up all my design work for the winter Craft and Hobby Association 2009 trade show. I am so happy to say that! I thrive on the craziness of this time of year--it is really fun! But also crazy busy--and sometimes--like this time--you end up with very fast deadlines. And even though I enjoy the process and feel I do some of my best work under the pressure, I'm sure am glad to be done! :)
First off I want to show my Chatterbox work. Chatterbox has a beautiful new line out called fabulous! And it really is! I had a lot of fun playing with all the great papers and embellishments in this line! I loved that there was cork embellishments! So fun--and as always, the stitched felt was super cool! My favorite layout with this line is this one here. I wanted to do a scrapbook snapshot of the things that make our family us right now. I loved how it turned out! I used wordle to do the journaling.
And here is my super cute niece Annie again. I love this photo of her so I decided to scrapbook it again in black and white. It went with this line so well!
And my Blake. For the longest time he was always winking when he smiled. I wanted to capture that before I forget all about him doing this!
And this is a little mini book I created about our trip to South Padre Island last Aug. It was a great trip. Thanks for checking it all out. Next up I'll be posting some Queen and Company sneak peeks...so come back later today :)

No Training Wheels

Wow--so it's been a long time since I posted anything here--not for lack of anything to post--just the opposite in fact. Life has been very, very, busy and hectic ; and I am just now feeling like I am coming up from under my mountain of stuff to do. I have a ton of photo shoots to share highlights from--a wedding too. Plus lots of family pictures, and also a bunch of fun layouts and projects from Chatterbox, Melissa Frances, and Queen and Company! So, I promise to be a more active poster over the next few weeks to try and catch up on all of that! Anyhow, tonight I simply want to share a great major triumph in the Williams household that happened today. Ty can officially ride his new bike--by himself! Yay! He got this bike for Christmas and it came without training wheels and we opted to keep it that way--avoiding the training wheel stage all together. It was a bit of a struggle at times. Ty would get scarred when he crashed and he just didn't seem to get how to shift his weight around to stay up. Still, we all persevered, and thanks to some expert help from both us and Ty's grandparents, he has figured it out! Look how happy he is about it: Isn't he handsome in his fighter pilot jacket and his Pirates of the Caribbean Helmet? :) He kept smiling that huge grin at me as he zoomed by! I loved seeing him so happy as he has not always been enthusiastic about learning to ride. Tonight though, we had a hard time convincing him to stop! He still needs a little help getting started, and his stopping is a little bit rough, but, he is officially a bike rider now! :)
