My Scrap Space, Real Milwaukee, and A Minty Frosty the Snowman...

How's that for a title? I promise they are all crafting related, but that's about all they share in common!

First off let me quickly share a link to the Bella Blvd Blog where you can take a peek at my scrap space if you ever wonder where I keep all my supplies :) All of the Bella Artistas share their scrap Spaces on the blog, so be sure and scroll through the past posts to lots of other great ways to store your supplies.

Next I wanted to share this year's teacher/neighbor gift idea. I've been really racking my brain over this one this year, as I really wanted to do something cute and different than past year's treat bags. Then I remembered a box of mints Marc's aunt had given us many, many, years ago right after we were first married. She had fixed it up to look like a snowman. Perfect! I ran off to the store to get these:

Which Marc, and the boys, and I, turned into 20+ of these :)

We had a lot of giving them out, especially the boys. They were excited to give their teachers something they helped make--which made this an even better project than past years where I did all the work. I'm thinking these would be really cute with some awesome scrapbook paper, but for mass productions sake we just used tissue paper.

Last, I just wanted to share a Video Clip from Real Milwaukee, a local fox morning show where Stephanie Hunt from Bella Blvd recently appeared with a tutorial on making the gift bags I did as part of my December Guest Artista stint :)

Bella Blvd has put together a slightly different version of my template which makes these bags really fast and easy to make. You can download and then print it here.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

  1. This is adorable! It is so much fun to gift something creative to teachers. I decorated frappuccino carriers and made milk carton treat boxes. Thanks for sharing your project. Must file it away for the next holiday :)
