Hello Simple and Easy Pom-Pom Monster Cards!

Hello Love Monster Cards!

I suppose it could be related to the fact that I have 3 boys, but I've always had a thing for cute monsters! So it's really no surprise that after seeing the Love Monster Kit from Queen and Company, I'm 'head over heels!'

This kit makes creating little pom-pom monsters super easy as the monster body dies not only cut out but also have embossing marks that show you exactly where to place each pom-pom. The kit also includes a whole bunch of extra strong glue dots to make adhering your pom-poms super easy!

The other little dies in the kit make ridiculously cute mouths, arms, feet, a candy heart, heart balloon, a mini heart banner, and other adorable accessories. I also love that it can be mixed and matched with the Monster Mash Kit for even more Monster options!

The kit comes with a paper stack that that includes lots of reds, pinks, and blues which match the pom-poms perfectly!

In addition to the large pom-poms, you also have lots of small pom-poms which you can use to make a 'top layer' on your monsters for extra 'fluff'!

I love everything about this kit, but the sentiment stamps have to be my favorite item! Awesome fonts and cute sayings that can be used long after you have used up your pom-poms!

And the best part about the kit is that once you have used up your pom-poms you can still create adorable monsters like this one I made with just the die cuts!

There is a bling add on available that I used in making these cards. It has several types of bling in colors that match the kit. I love how quick it is to pull together a card when everything matches already!

Amazingly Easy and Pretty Shaker Card with the Love Jar Kit!

Meet the completely gorgeous Love Jar Kit from Queen and Company! There is an enormous amount of items packed into this great kit and you can make truly stunning cards by mixing the mason jar shaker with the stamp set and embellishments!

Here are a few of the projects I made with this kit:

I play up the blues and whites in the kit with this card using those colors both in the flowers and in the shaker embellishments.

This next card is similar in style but in a different color scheme, this time based on one of the patterned papers in the included paper pad. I love how the stamped sentiments fit perfectly on the labels you can cut with the dies in the kit.

These little wooden shaker pieces look so cute in this kit!

A little different look with this card, keeping the lid closed and just focusing on the shaker items and a fun stamped heart-shaped label.

Back to stamping again, but this time some "heart flowers" that match the colors in the striped papers from the paper pad.

And lastly and non-shaker card highlighting just how cute the included embellishments are, even as standalone embellishments.

The die cut "thanks" word is a die from the Queen and Company Heart Throb Kit.

Queen and Company Holiday Tree Shaker Card Kit

Today I'm sharing all the cards I made with Queen and Company's new Holiday Tree Shaker Card Kit. This awesome kit is a great way to quickly make a bunch of Christmas shaker cards. You can make them all the same or put a different spin on each, as I did with my example cards.

The kits include all the cards, foam, acetate covers, tree die, shaker beads, embellishments, tags, and even the sentiment stickers for six cards. All you need to add is whatever color cardstock or patterned paper you want. I used all cardstock to keep this cards classic and clean looking, but patterned paper would also look great!

Here are the six cards I made with the kit. Again, all I added was a small amount of cardstock that I die cut with the included tree die.

This one stayed traditional with a classic green and red.

I love the mix of red and blue, so these two cards played up that color mix in opposite ways.

Another couple of more traditional colored cards with red and silver/white and small green accents. The red tree is one of my favorite from this set of cards.

And last, my favorite card of the bunch, this peppermint inspired pink tree card!

You can check out this kit over on the Queen and Company Web Site.

How To Make Cute Fruit Shaker Cards?

How To Make Cute Fruit Shaker Cards? Use the new Queen and Company Fruit Basket Shaker Kit!

I am so excited this kit has finally been released! This kit has been in the works for quite some time, in fact, I created some cards almost exactly a year ago when we first started exploring the ideas that began to bring this kit to be!
Each of the foam shapes in the kit are self-adhesive, making them easy to stick down on your project, then to fill with the adorable mini fruits. The matching acetate covers are also included which is an awesome time saver!

It was a huge pleasure to design the papers for this kit! Fruit gives you so many fun options for designing! I think the apple/strawberry/flower paper is my personal favorite.

The fruit shapes made coming up with matching sentiment stickers extra fun...I'm quite proud of how these turned out!

So far I've created a handful of cards with this kit, but I can't wait to create lots more! Enjoy a closer look at the six cards I made as soon as the kit was in my hands!
