The Wild Flowers Around Here Are Amazing!
Over the weekend we went with some long time friends of ours out to see the Texas Blue Bonnet fields. We found some truly beautiful fields just bursting with color. I loved the first field we went to as it had not only blue bonnets, but indian paint brush as well--It was a truly stunning sight. We were there just around sunset and the fields had that perfectly golden glow. Afterwards we took off to a different field of just blue bonnets. We got the silhouette photos there. The one of our family is going to be enlarged and put up on the wall, I love it that much :)

I have an announcement!!!!!!!!
I've been sitting on this now for a few weeks and it has been killing to to keep quiet about it, but I can now announce that another fabulous manufacturer has asked me to do scrapbook designs with their product. The Manufacturer is Melissa Frances! The have a hugely talented design team already--and I truly feel like I'm walking among giants as I get to know the other sweet ladies on the team--so much talent--I am truly in awe!

Catching Up
Sorry for the long time in between posts! I've been meaning to post some new pictures, but just really haven't been able to find the time. Today, however, has given me a few moments to post some new stuff :)
First off just a few more from that maternity session. I had such a good time taking these, I wish I had the chance to do maternity sessions more often!
Texas Bluebonnets At Sunset
And these are from a session I did last week. Believe it or not, we have Texas bluebonnet "fields" just about 10 minutes away from my house--okay, so not really. These were taken at some bluebonnet flower beds (in that park I told you all about a few posts ago). Even though our "fields" were miniture, we did our best to capture the feeling of being out in the actual fields--minus the 1-2 hour drive :)

And on a more personal note, we really enjoyed a recent visit with my parents. We were able to spend about a week with them at Easter time. We dyed Easter eggs, toured their home being built here, tried to teach our boys about the true meaning of Easter, introuduced Spencer to black jelly beans, and played some rather intense games of Skipbo :) I think a good time was had by all. I hope you all had a great Easter too :)
