Pioneer Boy At Play.....

A couple of summer's ago we had the chance to visit Nauvoo. It was one of the highlights of our trip and one of the boys favorite stops along our three week tour up the east coast and then back to Texas. On their favorite day there we spent a good amount of time in the Children's area where the boys each dressed up in "pioneer" clothes and learned all about pioneer toys and games. All three of them had a blast and did not want to leave. This layout is about some of Blake's favorites from that experience.

The papers here are from Lilly Bee's Double Dutch collection. I thought the colors and the slightly homespun feel of this line was perfect for these photos.

I cut the red titles on my Cricut, using the Creative Memories This and That Cartridge, the little star burst punch is also by Creative Memories.

The Baker's twine is by Queen and Company, the wood pieces, tags, and stars are by Studio Calico, buttons by Basic Grey.

I have another layout using this line with photos of Spencer's favorites in Nauvoo to show tomorrow. Until then happy Monday everyone!
