Happy Happy Birthday Blake!

Well my middle child is 3 today! Hard to believe it, but it is true! So in celebration--here are a few photos from that day. Look how tiny, squishy, and wrinkled he was. You forget those details if you don't have the pictures! I wasn't quite the photographer then that I am now, but I still love looking back to see how much my kids have changed! And here is a recent picture of the birthday boy: I hope you have a great day little man!

A busy week!!!!

I've been hard at work editing photos so I should be able to pass out some CD's to those of you that have been waiting :) Also I finished my September layouts for scrapbooks.com! Here is a little peek. You will have to check out my gallery at scrapbooks.com to see the whole thing though :) Right Back In Love Again Pee-Wee Putters Finally Can I Hold It? Also, Ive had some great photo shoots! Here are some favorites I've been editing today: This shoot was mainly for the little brother, but I think big brother kind of stole the show! Last, I've continued to aquire a few new props. Here are Ty and Spencer showwing them off for me: I do have some new props for girls too, but I wasn't to sure I wanted to photograph Spencer with a purple feather boa :) And as a side note all of these were taken with my brand new backdrop stand. I'm loving how much easier this stand makes everything!

At the Park

We had a fun time out at the park last night. The weather was nice, and by the time we got there it was finally starting to cool down. The boys played in the sand and on the slides and we also went for a nice walk. While there I got this shot of Marc and Spencer. I didn't really mean to take it this way--I must have accidentally turned the dial wheel the wrong direction, however, I rather liked the silhouette effect. A bit of a happy mistake :)

I Love Target

Taget is one of my favorite stores. Not ony do that always have great designs in both products and advertising, but I always find great stuff in their dollar spot. Here is Spencer modeling today's find: This little hat was just too cute to pass up! They also had matching shirts and socks. I also picked up a great little baby witch hat that I hope to find a little girl to wear somtime soon!

Note To Self:

1. If you feed an 8 month old fruit loops you can expect to have multi-colored spit-up for the next 2-3 hours. 2. If you do not insist that your son pick up his plastic spiders in the living room before bed, you might find yourself thinking they are real when you are up with the baby at 1am. 3. The pantry needs a lock on it. 4. So does the inside of the front door. 5. Buy more chocolate.

Some New Props

I had some fun today searching out some new props and backgrounds! Spencer was pretty happy to help me try them out, and Ty even posed for me momentarily. Here are the results :)







I have an entire set of the glasses. I think our next family portrait will have to include them :)

Unfortunatly Spencer wouldn't keep his cowboy hat on, nor did he stay in a good enough mood to try some of the other props on for size, however, we will try it another day, and it will give me more material for future blog posts.
